locating data

My workbook contains sheets labeled with dates...ex. (APR 9,APR 10,) etc. Each sheet contains headings with data in the same row and cell on each sheet.

I wish to compile a Master sheet that compiles such data. On the Master sheet I have identical columns and headings. I would like to use a formula that imports the data from the individual sheets into the Master sheet which is in the same workbook.

My feeble attempt using the Match function isn't working. Is there a way to INDEX a series of worksheets?

I know this is probably a simple task, but I'm baffled at the moment.

Thanks
