Hi

I would like to be able to search a sheet for activex controls and have the program let me know what cell the control resides in. is this possible??

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
try this (untested)
Code:
Sub objects()

For Each o In ActiveSheet.OLEObjects
        MsgBox o.Name & " found at " & o.TopLeftCell.Address
    Next
End Sub

Thnks PCC that works well and does give me the location. I would like to be able to select a range of cells based on the result i.e

activex control in $B$15 i need to select the cell 5 columns to the right.

Can this be done??
