"Lock" cells in conditional formatting even if "Insert column" is used?

Hello,
I have a conditional formatting applied to cells like this "=$KB$17:$KE$100000".... I run a Macro each day that shifts all columns to the right at KB and inserts new data down KB. However, both columns in the conditional formatting formula increase also, to "$KC$17:$KF$100000". Is there a way I can "lock" the "$KB" so that it doesn't increase to "$KC"? Thanks!

Never Mind.... I found a fix! Apparently, if I include column KA in the formatting formula, "=$KA$17:$KE$100000", and insert the column at "KB", then the "KA" remains stable and it increases the "KE" to "KF", just like I needed.
