Greeting - is it possible to just lock columns A, B & C from being edited, but still allow rows to be added or deleted? I using Excel 2016.
Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Hello. Yes. Set columns A to C as locked, then click Protect Sheet. There is an option you can check (click) to allow Insert Rows. You will have to also check Select Locked Cells and Select Unlocked Cells.

Whilst you can insert rows, you cannot delete them if you have locked a column.
