Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Hi anna99 - As nobody has responded - I thought I might try to get you started. One thing I thought of is if the filtering column was the last column, you could select A-F for filtering and then turn on filtering for A-F and Column G would not be filtered. (see below) Hope this helps get you started.
