hi all

i'm wondering is it possible to do the following things
for example, i have 5 computers which name is "1","2"..."5"
when my excel(name, AAA) opens in these five computers, it will lock column A and column B and free all other areas, but when it opens in other computers, it will lock more areas, like lock column C and D.
so, i'm thinking, the solving steps is gonna like this:
first, vba code must get the computer name, if the name including in a list(like name 1,2,3-5), the restrict areas is much less, but when the file opens in other computer, the restrict areas will be much more.
is it possible?
some one help me, thank you very very very much!!!
