Lock row height

Greetings, I thought this would be an easy process, but embarrassingly enough I cannot figure how to lock the height of row one. I need it to remain tall enough so my command buttons don't become obscured when row one is reduced

. I can heighten row 1, but as soon as I have any activity the row will shrink down to the default size. I provided a picture so you can get the general idea. Thank you
 

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Using Format/Row Height and entering a value should fix the row height regardless of what you do afterwards. What are you doing that makes the row height reset?

i had another VBA that was instructing it to automatically adjust. It has been sorted out now. Thank you.
