Hello All,

I have a question, I have a spreadsheet that I've locked. But there is a particular area that is not locked because the users need to use the dropdown list to make selections. They (the users) are copying and pasting the list into other worksheets which could potentially mess up the spreadsheet is there anyway that I can restrict the use of copy and paste???

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
If you are worried about users copy and pasting to other worksheets, protect those worksheets too. You can also protect the workbook so additional sheets can not be added.

I did protect the workbook but the users have to make comments. I went to Tools>Protection>Protect Sheet, the only thing I have checked is the "Edit Objects" because the users have to make comments. But the downfall on using that option is that they can copy and paste =0(
