A copy of the FE is given to some users at the moment but I have a
question re-locked records for editing.

In the original DB I do not think that the locked records for editing
was set in the forms.

I want to know where do I set this setting, in the FE or BE?

Do I do as a master default setting or do I have to do it in individual
forms?

If I set a default master setting now will that default set this for
every new form etc?

I want to get this right before I distribute the front end to all users
so I only do it once.

Cheers

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
It's in Tools > Options and it applies to the whole DB. Do it in the FE.

As default set it to No Locks. If that causes issues, change that to Edited Record.
Make sure that the default setting (also on the same dialog) is for Multiple Users.
