Locking Cell Width

Hi there,

I want to lock the structure of my workbook to prevent users from amending the size or columns, but I still need the users to be able to enter data into the sheet and delete rows when they are finished with.

I have tried protecting the sheet, which stops the users being able to alter the size, but they then can't enter and amend data either.

Any thoughts?

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Have the right boxes checked when protecting the worksheet

All cell areas containing data that must be able to be changed must be released. Select these cell ranges, choose Format Cell, Protection tab, uncheck Locked.
