How do you lock a cell but still be able to access it ( obviously not change values, just access with a mouse )

Cheers

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
If you have XL2003, you can go to tools - protection - protect sheet. and put a check in "Select Locked Cells", enter a password if you like, then click OK.

Hi

Thanks, I know how to protect a cell,I think I was not clear. If you select locked cells then the cursor jumps over the cell. How can I lock a cell , protect it, but still be able to move the cursor over it. ? Makes sense? :)
