Locking Down Access to Validation Changes

Good morning everyone, been a while.

I have an issue I can't find a way to resolve.

Scenario: I have built a number of validation menus on a spreadsheet to control data in this column's field. All works fine but it seems someone keeps going in and removing the validation, then other get upset because they rely on it.

Question: Can anyone tell me if there is a way to protect and prevent any changes to the validation? I tried locking and password protecting the column but then it will not allow the validation items to be inserted into the field.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)

You need to apply 'Allow Edit Ranges' to the validation cells before protecting the sheet.

Unprotect the sheet (if protected).
Select the cells with validation.
Click 'Allow Edit Ranges' (next to Protect Sheet).
Click 'New', the first 2 boxes should be completed for you, the bottom one (password should remain empty).
Click OK twice, then protect the sheet.

Thanks Jason, much appreciated. Appears to be working so far on test worksheet. Now I'll apply to my main sheet.

Have a great day.
