I am creating a excel sheet for my work so that when we have to submit forms to other companies it will cut down a lot of the same typing ect. I have multiple drop down boxes and auto dates so i can save on putting todays date in when we fill the form out and things such as that. However for example when we send the file through to a client all the options remain usable and the auto date will change to the date that they open the fill. Is there a way to lock it so that excel won't change the date and they won't be able to change what we have selected on the sheet? If this task is a long one to preform will there be a way to create a macro so that it can be done quickly, as i work with people whom are not very computer savvy.

Any assistance with this will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
you could use a userform to insert all the predefined info before the client gets the sheet, then they just add their bits afterwards. by using a userform, all of the data written to the sheet by the userform is static and does not change when reopened on another day.
