having read a piece in an old forum entry on locking excel tabs and passwording them I was wondering if you could help me with problem I have. i have a worksheet were there is one master page and several other pages within the same workbook that all feed into it. the issue I have is that each of the other pages is completed by a seperate work colleague, 1 colleague per page. I have to protect each page so that each person is unable to view the others, to comply with data protection rules. this is a shared doc. is there anyway I can lock or password protect each tab so it inaccessible to other users?
your help would be most appreciated

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
off the top of my head, make an input box when the workbook opens, depending on which value is entered, depends on which sheet is shown? coding it so that it hides the non-needed sheets. Therefore each colleague has a different value (i.e. password)

How secure is this data and how savvy are the users?
