Is there a way to "Lock" a workbook once it has been authorised. I would like to create a password protected button (e.g. you click it once, enter a password then the lock is activated) which locks the entire workbook until another password is entered to re-open it.

Is this possible?

Thank you.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

This should work for a sheet (assuming you haven't formatted any individual cells as unlocked) - assign it to a button on the sheet.

ActiveSheet.Protect Password:="password", DrawingObjects:=True, Contents:=True, Scenarios:=True

For a workbook

'ActiveWorkbook.Protect Password:="password", Structure:=True, Windows:=False
