Hi Masters Of Excel,
I have been thinking about this a lot and I have tried to find in Excel Board but was unable to, maybe I do not know how to find.
My probelm is as below:

Conditions:
1. I have a fixed space defined as length, width and height.
2. I have different szies of of boxes that I wll need to load into this space.

Requirements:
1. Excel should allow user to key in the length, height and width of the space.
2. Excel will then allow user to key in the different sizes of the boxes.
3. If there is only one size of box, it should also be able to do the calculation.
4. Once finished, Excel will need to calculate how to fit the boxes into the space so that all space can be filled up with the least wastage of empty spaces.
5. Excel will need to shoe the user how to fit the different sizes into the space provded.

I thank you in advance
Steven

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Dear SIr,
Thank you for your reply.
If I understand your question correctly, the only limitaion is the following:
1. The size of each box cannot be greater than the space provided.
2. There is no limit to the different types of boxes to be fiited into the space. Excel nned to allow user to key in as many types of boxes as there are.
3. The only limitation is the space provided. Excel needs to calculate how many boxes and also how to stack them inside this empty space to maximise usage of the provided space. What it means is that Excel have to be able to show how to stack and place these boxes inside the provided space only.
Thank You
Steven
