look for highest item

Hello,
Can someone assit me please in how to put together a formula that will look for the highest category and paste that into the cell.

I.E
Minor,
Major,
Moderate,
Significant,
Catastrophic.

So in Cell j4 could be Minor, cell K4 could be Minor, Cell l4 could be Significant and cell m4 could be Major.

in this instance the hihighest is "Significant" and should be placed in cell Q4

Is this possible and greatfull for any help that can be provided.

Chris look at this sample. I have created a small table starting in Cell A1, showing the names and then giving them a number. Sample code to find the Highest in the next column

Sample them showing the names along Row 4 and placing the Matched name. So I would suggest adding some sort of code for each Name you are using.

I was tying to get out of Index formula but I think you are correct. I will develop a table in a seperate sheet and then index and look up the value relating to the text.
