I'm trying to cross reference a cell in one worksheet and have it appear in another worksheet. Which I have managed. However, I would like the text to appear differently in both worksheets.
So in worksheet one, the value of the cell is: ME
Then in worksheet two I'd like this to appear as: Mr Excel

I've got a fair few different initials I'd like to translate, so the fix would need to bear this in mind.

I've tried it with the Vlookup function, however as I am already cross referencing this entry it doesn't seem to work!!

Any ideas?

When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Hi

Maybe something like this

=VLOOKUP(Sheet1!B4,Sheet2!H10:I12,2,FALSE)

with b4 being MR (on sheet 1)
h10:I12 being the cross referencing codes (MR EXCEL located in cell I10)
