Hi,

I need to get the scores from a different spreadsheet and are on multiple workbook. The data are on multiple tabs on the 2nd spreadsheet.
I need a formula that will allow me to look up from all workbook from a different spreadsheet.

Spreadsheet 1: Main File
Code Name Score
A Millie
B Karla
C Ben

Spreadsheet 2:
(Workbook 1) A - Millie - 5.0
(Workbook 2) B - Karla - 0.9
(Workbook 3) C - Ben - 10

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
I would avoid doing this at all costs, it is problematic if for example you email the file to someone and they don't have access to the
other workbooks etc. You would be better querying the data from your source files into the file you are using to create the formula. You could create a query into each of teh other two workbooks then merge and combine them within PowerQuery to get the results without formulas and it would be refreshable going forward.

Hi @Deek6t8,

I just learned how to do the query and it works amazingly with my report. Thank you so much for your suggestion :)
