Look up Within a Range of Values

I need some assistance with a lookup in Excel. I have the following data in my spreadsheet:

Dollar Amount	# of Persons
$19,500	2
$36,410	1

I need to look up from another set of data (posted below) to see if, based on the # of people, if the dollar amount column is below at or below the 50 column or the 60 column. For example the person listed in row 1 above would return 50. The person in row two would return 60 (based on the list below). Is this possible?

What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Also can you post some sample data.

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.
