I have the data below all are formated the same, what I would like to do is to have a formula take out the initial. I know that I could use Text to Columns but would rather have a formula to accomplish this. Thanks in advance Stephen!

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
jonmo1 That did it! Thank you so much I just could not get it! Thanks again!
