Hey all,

I am looking for excel formula where I can Sort the data in ascending order i.e from top scorer with his name below is my data.....

In the abvoe example I want the result should be like this........

Name Exam Score
Praveen 86
Mallesh 85
Mahesh 75
Niyaz 70

Sanmati 45

I want abvoe answer after giving excel formula....

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Can U please make it simpler...... I don't how to use that function !

Assuming your data is in range a2:b9, in c2 =RANK(B2,$B$2:$B$9). Copy into range c3:c9, then sort cols a:c by col C
