I work at a company that has worksheets saved in versions of excel ranging from 1997-2013, however we mostly use Excel 2010 and 2013 to open the files. We noticed a few weeks ago that our '97 excel sheets weren't prompting for save on close all the time. Rather than converting all of our saves to .xlsx my boss would like to find a way to make an add-in that we can have active on all workbooks that makes Excel prompt to save whenever the workbook is closed.
