Hello everybody,

I am looking for a excel formula........

In D1 Work start time is there and in E2 Finish time.

ex D1 (start time) E1 (Finish) F2
<TABLE style="WIDTH: 156pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=208 border=0 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 78pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3803" span=2 width=104><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl66 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; WIDTH: 78pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=104 height=17> 11:28:53</TD><TD class=xl66 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; WIDTH: 78pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=104> 11:29:43</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl66 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 11:47:12</TD><TD class=xl66 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent"> 11:58:16</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

In F2 Column I want the difference between E1 and D2. and it should be highlighted if the time is greater than 10 minutes.

Regards,
Mallesh

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Try this

Excel Workbook
DEF
111:28:5311:29:4300:00:50
211:47:1211:58:1600:11:04
Sheet2
Cells with Conditional Formatting
CellConditionCell FormatStop If True
F11. / Cell Value greater than =10/1440Abc
F21. / Cell Value greater than =10/1440Abc

Your cell references are confusing - you refer to D1, D2, E1 and E2.
I'll assume that in F1 you want to calculate the difference between D1 and E1, if not, adapt it yourself.
Code:
=e1-d1
and format as time, the same as your existing data.
If this works for you, post back and we can move on to the highlighting more than 10 minutes part.

Perhaps you mean this

Excel Workbook
DEF
211:28:5311:29:43
311:47:1211:58:1600:29:23
Sheet2
Cells with Conditional Formatting
CellConditionCell FormatStop If True
F21. / Cell Value greater than =10/1440Abc
F31. / Cell Value greater than =10/1440Abc

If you need to know how to apply conditional formatting see http://www.contextures.com/xlCondFormat01.html

Hi Vog,

Still I am facing a problem. The start timing is in HH:MM:SS. and Finish time is also in Same format. So here I am trying to find after finishing the work at what time he started again. and I am searching the difference in time. When I applied your formula it shows Value not a figure.

Please simplify it.

Thanks and Regards,
Mallesh
