Can someone help me figure out the formula for column 5 that will identify the earlier date in date columns 2-4 that occurs after the date in column 1? Thus, for the first row it would give 1/15/13, but for the second row would give 3/1/13.
visit date1date 2date3date4Col5
1/1/131/15/133/1/152/1/15
2/1/131/15/131/31/133/1/13

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
maybe something like...

=MIN(IF(B2:D2>A2,B2:D2))

which is an array and needs to be entered with Control + Shift + Enter.

=MIN(IF(B1:D1>A1,B1:D1,""))
Note Array formula, use Ctrl-Alt-Enter

Then copy down
