Lookup formula needed

Hello all,

I need a formula that will accomplish the following...

I want to look in cell K9 and if it is not blank, I need to look at the values in column F starting with row 9 and going up. I want to search up until I find a date (isnumber ?) and populate cell L9 with that date. There will always be a date found.
