Hello,

I have a column of data with: Last name,Company Name-First Name

I wanted to create a lookup formula to return only the company name in the adjacent cell.

Does anyone know how I would do this?
Thank you

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Hi

Welcome to the MrExcel Forum.

Try in B2:-
Code:
=MID(A2,FIND(",",A2)+1,FIND("-",A2,FIND(",",A2))-FIND(",",A2)-1)

nb This will work even if the Last Name is hyphenated but will not work if the Company Name also has a hyphen
