Hello All,

I am trying to refernence single cells in multiple worksheets, add them up and if they exceed a threshold highlight this. I also want to do this for multiple names from a drop down menu, ie pick a name from a drop down list and see any instances within the given range where the name exceeds the set threshold.

Is this possible?

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
This seems to be getting me most of the way. I am trying to pick the criteria from a drop down list (ie a name) allocating hours across a number of work areas and am trying to check for over allocation of resource. I have over 20 names so listing out all of the different formula for each resource would be very time consuming.
Is is possible to choose the criteria (ie name) from a drop down list, run the query against that criteria and extract the data from the multiple worksheets. This way, effectively I only have to identify the search area and check for occurrences of the name and its resource allocation. By changing the name I chenge the returned data outcome.ie.
I have 15 resources, I want to check the individual resource (from a drop down list) for having too many hours allocated across 20 worksheets on any given day in a 365 day calendar (held in the 20 individual worksheets).
Thanks again for any input.
