Lookup only Balnk cells

Hi All,

I have a problem. I have two sheets where I have two columns;one is for Company Name & the other one is Employee Range. In another file I have the same company Name and Employee range. But here some cells of the the employee range is missing.

I want to do a vlookup for only the blank cells and fill it up.

Is there any way to do that?

Hi

One way would be to filter for blank cells, enter your VLOOKUP formula in the first blank cell.

Select all remaining cells (including the one you put the formula in) and press Ctrl + ;

This will select visible cells. You can then do a Ctrl+D or F2 and then Ctrl + Enter to fill up the remaining blank cells.
