Hello Folks,

I need your help and assistance, I need to lookup only for distinct or unique value.
I have a data which contains of date, and mostly duplicate, in column A. Starting from row # 2.
I want to lookup in column B based on column A but only for distinct value, is it possible to do it whether with VBA or function?
I try to use UNIQUE function but it gave me SPILL error

Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Two things should help a little:

1. It appears that you have a recent version (UNIQUE function) but if you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum), helpers will always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

2. MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

INDEX(MATCH(ROW or INDEX(AGGREGATE,ROW could do the trick.
Give more information with screenshot/image.
