I have a worksheet with item names, quantities and prices.

The column headings look like this:

Col A Col B Col C Col D Col E Col F
Row 1: Part A Qty Price Part B Qty Price
Row 2: 1 25 2 50
Row 3: 16 42 11 75

The Column Heading in Row 1 change from time to time. Rows to thru whatever represent what various customers have purchased.

What I am trying to do in a cell is look across Row 1, find the column number of the Part I want and then multiply the Qty * Price for that customer

The end result is if I stick a formula in say X2 and it is =B2*C2 that's fine except that since Part A might end up in Col D, then that formula is now wrong.
