How could I write a formula in a cell that would look up cell's (G7) contents (ie the word "Fuel") then find the corresponding worksheet "Fuel" and pull a fixed cell (C2) of that worksheet. The contents in G7 would be able to be changed to, for example, "Water", "Gas", "Electricity" etc. The formula would then go find the corresponding named worksheet and pull C2 from that worksheet.

Thanks for any advise,

Russell

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

Try...

=INDIRECT("'"&G7&"'!C2")
