Good Morning

I was wondering if anyone can help me today regarding something I would like to design.

I have a spreadsheet which is a download from our Database which contains around 10,000 records.

I would like to develop a summary page where the user can type in a Date of Birth in a field where a look up will bring back a summary of certain lines of information regarding anyone with that Date of Birth.

I know the problem is that excel always brings back the First entry in excel but what I like it to do is to bring back ALL entries which match that Date of Birth.

Is there a special formulae or a formulae which looks at the above entry and ignores the entry and brings back the next entry in the list? Do I just make a summary sheet of 20 lines to bring back multiple items? But how do you ignore bringing back the first entry all the time?

So if I have six entries that match the Date of Birth I would like all these to come back with name and other information. Example below

I hope you understand what I have explained.

Example

Date of Birth 17/04/2011

Name Gender
Simon Daniels Male
John Smith Male
John Pants Male

Hope you can help?

Simon

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
How about using Filters?

Another option would be do this in a database program like Access (this is the kind of thing Access was designed to do).
