Hi
I'm trying to lookup some data have entered below

I'm trying to find the value in column e and lookup in column C to return in Column A

Ive used the formula below but its not returning the correct info.

Column B Column C Column E should be
Cable ID Element ID 2/B2/206

=LOOKUP(E4,C4:C100,B4:B100)

2/B2/201 MCC/B2/01/01 C-95-01 1/B1/218
2/B2/202 MCC/B2/01/02
2/B2/203 MCC/B2/01/03
2/B2/204 C-95-04
2/B2/205 GD-01
2/B2/206 C-95-01
2/B2/207 C-95-02

Hi, it sounds like you want..:

=INDEX(B4:B100,MATCH(E4,C4:C100,0))
