Lookup

I am trying to look up the smallest value in column H and return the number in the cell in the same row from column A. I do not want to sort the data or rearrange the columns unless I have too.

Hi,

Without seeing your data, try:

=INDEX(A2:A100,MATCH(MIN(H2:H100),H2:H100,0))

Adjust to suit your number of rows if >100
