I have a table that looks a little like this

Column A - 1 through to 50
Column B - Values such as BHX, CWL, EMA, LGW, LTN randomly placed.
Column C - Random text values, all of which would be different. That may or may not be entered.

First of all I want it to count how many times BHX, CWL, EMA, LGW and LTN appear in the 1-50.I know I do a COUNTIF formula for that. Thats fine.
I however want to know, how many BHX values have an entry in Column C and give me a count up of that.

Is it lookups? arrays? im a little lost?

Some help please.
