Hello-

I was hoping someone could help me with this.

I need to create a macro that will loop through all workbooks in a specified folder ("C:\My Stuff\2011-07-31") and in Sheet1,CellB3 place the following text:

January 2011 through July 2011

Thx!

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Try this on a copy of your data
Code:
Option Explicit

Public Sub All_Files_in_Folder()

    Dim folder As String
    Dim filename As String
    Application.ScreenUpdating = False
    folder = "C:\My Stuff\2011-07-31"
    If Right(folder, 1) <> "\" Then folder = folder & "\"

    filename = Dir(folder & "*.ped", vbNormal)
    Do Until filename = ""
        With Sheets("Sheet1")
         Range("B3").Value = "January 2011 through July 2011"
End With
        filename = Dir() ' Get next matching file
    Loop
      Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub
