Hi,

I need to loop through a range but going from bottom to top. ie....

I need to loop through the cells in range I2:I48 but starting from row 48. If a cell has the value 8 in it then I need range L3 to equal the the cell 2 to the left of the cell that had 8 in it, then it needs to exit the sub.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.....thank you :)

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Hi again

Please try:

Code:
Sub LoopTill8()
Dim lRow As Long

For lRow = 48 To 2 Step -1
    If Range("I" & lRow) = 8 Then
        Range("L3") = Range("G" & lRow)
        Exit For
    End If
Next
If iRow = 1 Then MsgBox "Not found!"
End Sub

Hope this helps
