I want to loop through all of my open workbooks and check to see if a string is within the filename I saved each workbook under. Any ideas?

I tried
for each workbook in xlapp
if workbook.name= strng then
----------
next workbook???

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Hello sll810,
Here's a quick example of a way to do that.
Code:
Sub LoopOpenBooksDemo()
Dim InPt$, Book As Workbook
InPt = InputBox("What string are you searching for?")
For Each Book In Application.Workbooks
  If InStr(Book.Name, InPt) Then MsgBox "The book's name is " & Book.Name
Next
End Sub

(Now I'll check John's linked thread just to see it's already been answered.) :unsure:
