Mac pdf export issues

Hi, thanks in advance for any help you could provide.

This seems really simple, but Google only seems to address part of the problem.

I'm trying to export a PDF of a spreadsheet on a mac (office 2011), but including a background image.

I can only get it excluding the background.

Tried searching and it tells me how to do background for PC, or export generally for Mac, but can't seem to find the combination of both!

Any help would be appreciated,
