I am running 2010 version but I want my macros to be compatible with older versions. Is there a way to ensure this? Thanks for any help in advance.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
The best way generally is to develop them in the oldest version you have to support.

It depends. If you have the right level of MSDN or Technet subscriptions then yes (as far back as 2003 anyway). If not, then I don't think so - you'd probably have to see if you can get hold of an old retail copy.
