I have a spreadsheet in 2007 on my PC which has macros in it which all work perfectly well.

My collegues however who are all using 2007 get an error message upon opening:

"Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing unreadable content"

"Removed Part: /xl/vbaProject.bin part. (Visual Basic for Applications (VBA))"

The macros then no longer work.

I'm guessing this is just a setting somewhere that needs to be changed.

We're all a bit new to 2007. Can anyone help?

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Do they have VBA installed? (e.g. can they record and run macros?)

I didnt realise VBA had to be installed I thought it was already there like in 2003.

I've added the deveopler toolbar to their view but when the spreadsheet opens all the macro options are greyed out.

All versions of Office, as I recall, had the option to not install VBA. If you did a full install of Office it should be there, but some IT departments don't seem to include it for some reason.
