Hi,

I'm trying to build a macro to automatically cut values if the cell to the left = "Customer:"

So for all cells in the sheet where the directly to the left = "Customer:" the macro takes the value and cuts it down 2 cells.

Currently using the macro below

Sub MoveIt()
ActiveCell.Copy ActiveCell.Offset(2, 0)
ActiveCell.Clear

End Sub

but this means having to click on every cell to the left of one containing 'Customer:' manually which is very time consuming given the size of the data set I have.

Many thanks,

James

Perhaps.
Code:
Sub MoveIt()
Dim I As Long

    For I = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row To 1 Step -1
        With Range("A" & I)
            If .Value = "Customer" Then
                With .Offset(, 1)
                    .Copy .Offset(2, 0)
                    .Clear
                End With
            End If
        End With
    Next I

End Sub
