MACRO DON'T WORK

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Worked right away for me. Are you sure you put the code in the worksheet's code module and not in a regular module? To view the worksheet's code module, right-click on the sheet's tab, and select "View Code". Then paste in the macro from the page you refer to (by the way, you left off a "p" at the end of the link).

HTH,

Russell

Hi Excel friend,

A last try.
I open a new workbook. In this new workbook I copied your macro in the sheet1 module.
Then I return to sheet1 and this sheet is blanco.Must your macro then already work or have I to fill in something in that sheet?
Thanks.

Ever since we got Office 2000 at work, a common problem has be the default security settings (ie, "HIGH") that disables all macros. I've gotten many panic phone calls that have been solved by a security reset to "LOW". Have you checked that?
Tom
PS - the code worked for me. Cool code.
PPS - Ivan, at the risk of sounding picky, it'll highlight multiple rows, but not multiple columns. Will there be a version 1.1?

Hi Ivan,

By testing above,I have found that, when I look to the active cell,in the menu-bar, the conditionel formatting gives me the right colour. Can that maybe a set to found a solution?
