I have no real experience with Macros I know how they can be used but I have never really used them to complete standard functions. Currently at work I need to create a macro that can read a file and output specific data into a specific cell. There are key words that I can look up for example "Project:" and "Project Total". But I need to copy the next 8 characters after "Project:" and any information that appears directly below "Project Total"

Unfortunately the information was in a pdf and it doesn't preserve the formatting when I drop it into word or excel.

Additionally a co-worker gave me a macro he uses to highlight specific terms in an excel document, so I have a starting point.

The Array is set up to look up to terms listed above.

Do you have any links or could you advise me on how to loop copy the 8 charterers post "Project:" into cell d2+1(it is on a loop) and any information that appears directly below "Project Total" into E2+1(again this is on a loop).

Thank you for any assistance or knowledge you may be able to offer. Again I am a beginner with macros but advanced in excel/office functions. Also if you have any advise where I can learn more about Macros I would appreciate that too.
