Hi,

I want to amend this code so the date is formatted to dd/mm/yy - this should make the filter work...

Sub macro9()

Dim mydate As Date
mydate = InputBox("enter date")
Selection.AutoFilter Field:=7, Criteria1:=mydate
End Sub

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Hi jimboy,

Try this line after your first mydate line:

mydate = Format(mydate, "dd/mm/yy")

Did this but it didn't work.

After its run I clicked on the autofilter and instead of 09/01/00 it has filtered 9/1/2000????
