Hi,

I often need to do the same seach and replace in Excel.

I search for A' and then need to replace this with ä (or something else)

I need to do this with more then 15 replace actions in a huge sheet (+3000 rows and +15 columns)

I want to use a simple macro for this in which i can add more values which need to be replaced.

I need to replace a text in a cell. So if in a1 it says blaA' it need to be replaced in that cell as well.

Can someone help me out / give me a hint how to do this?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).

Welcome to the board!
What you should do is store the string in a varity first then replace all then restore it to the cell.

Code:
Sub Toreplace()
Dim v As String
v = [a1]
Cells.Replace [a1], [b1]
[a1] = v
End Sub
