Macro help please

Im going to use the word rules for vertical lines
generated with the Borders option

Is there a macro that will delete rules and colors
in selective lines as described below?

Cols from A thru CC
There are 50,000 lines
Data starts on line 3

Line 3 has data
Line 4 blank
Lines 5 thru 9 has data
Line 10 to 13 are four blank lines
Lines 14 thru 19 has data

Data and blank lines vary and are not uniform

This continues for the 50,000 lines

Using the Border option I have vertical rules
and colors in varying cols from A thru CC
in lines 3 thru 50,000

I want delete the lines and colors in blank lines only

So line 3 with data to keep vertical rules and color
Line 4 with no data to have no rules and no colors
Lines 5 thru 9 with data to keep vertical rules and colors
Lines 10 thru 13 with no data to have no rules and no colors

Etc

Hi Ironside,
I'm not going to provide a solution, but just a couple of ideas to solve your request.

I suggest two solutions (if you want VBA code you can record a macro while performing actions):
1) You can apply an autofiter o your work range (i.e. A1:CC50000) and filter all fields on empty cells;
2) Use an auxiliary column where insert a formula to count blank cells on relevant row (from A to CC), then filter the auxiliary column with the number of columns frm A to CC;

Once you have filtere (either with solution 1 or 2), remove rules and colors from visible rows.
