I am in dier need of some assistance....

Basically I have no experience with Macro's and have been trying to figure out how to write one to do the following:
What is required is to Extract specific rows of data from over 500 individually saved Excel work books and compile in a seperate workbook (Summary Book).
The sheets are identical in format.
The rows that need to be extracted are identified via their 'code' e.g FXD1/2009/2Yr which is in clomn A of every sheet.
The desired rows to be extracted pertain to the following 'codes':
FXD1/2009/2Yr
FXD1/2009/5Yr
FXD1/2007/7Yr
FXD1/2009/10Yr
FXD1/2008/15Yr
Note: 1.The name "FXD1/200X/Xyr" found in the first column is unique to each row - if that’s of any help.
Please can someone assist me.....really need some guidance friends....
