Macro in excel to openoffice

Hi All,

i need some help here, i have created a macro in excel and it is working fine, but i want to use the same macro in open office org but it is showing some error and it is not working can any one clarify my doubt

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
I is my belief that Excel macros/VBA and OOorg macros/Basic are not the same - I think your macros are preserved intact but cannot be run in OOorg.

I may be wrong.

Do you have any macro which collects all the data from different openoffice file to one single file

No, sorry, none. You could try saving the OO files as XL files and then Excel macros would work - in that case, there are examples of such macros on the board (it's a common request).
